Creating Progress Data Catalogs for external applications

To create a new Progress Data Catalog, do the following:

  1. Create the catalog from Setup Home or from the application setup page:

    • Navigate to Setup Home. From the Applications Setup section, select Progress Data Catalogs. Or,
    • Navigate to the application setup page Catalogs section.
  2. Click New Progress Data Catalog.

    The Progress Data Catalog screen opens.

  3. Specify the following:

    • Catalog Name: A unique name for the catalog.

    • Integration Name: A unique integration name that Platform uses to identify this catalog in the customer tenant.

    • Platform automatically assigns an Integration Name derived from the Catalog Name, but you are free to change it.

    • Description: Optional description of the catalog.

    • Objects: In the Select Objects section, select and move the required objects from Available to Selected.

  4. Click Save to save the catalog definition.

    Platform creates the new catalog and displays it in the list of catalogs.
